MANGROVE ISLAND

The mangrove forest with monkey island of Cangio has been recognized by UNESCO as the most important Biosphere Reserves of Hochiminh City. Cangio island is the home of more than 194 species of fauna and 54 diversity of flora. The discovery of the island is the going into to the Eco, the catching up with the Wild on the East-West Coast of the city. It is also the very chance of touching the Wild life in the mangrove forest of Vietnam.

Depart from Saigon with one and half hour drive to get to Cangio Monkey island taking a local ferry along the way. Arrive in Cangio the take a Speedboat to go further to the Sea water and then a Canoe to cruise under the immense mangrove forest of the island. Going through some bat Kingdom . A short trek taking you to the WatchTower to the mighty Mangrove Forest and and thounsand of birds flying during the nesting season where a free wild monkey from Monkey republic of Cangio Island might come out and say "Hello" to you. Another chance to get close to the wild is observing the wild crocodiles. Head to the Cangio beach to get a cool relaxing breeze where a local lunch with seafood specialties made waiting for you. Visit the local seafood market nearby before heading back to Saigon.
