Rowing sampan to different islands and small canals experiencing the locals making coconut candy leave an unforgettable memory on your journey to Vietnam.

You will commence your Mekong River tour with a car transfer to My Tho where the Vinh Trang pagoda located after a 1.5 hour drive from Hochiminh City. As you pull into BenTre, you immediately feel the vibrance from the ships that transport goods and people to the Mekong islands. Next you’ll be treated to a wonderful boat trip through the wild BenTre river. From here you get a transfer to the coconut candy factory where you taste the coconut candy and learn how locals make rice paper and candy for the local consumption. In the afternoon, you visit the fruit gardens and local houses to observe the daily activities of the villagers living along the Mekong by rowing sampan. As you continue, you taste some seasonal fruits from the Mekong Delta and enjoy a cup of local green tea before returning to Hochiminh City.
